वितरसि दिक्षु रणे दिक्पतिकमनीयं
दशमुख मौलिबलिं रमणीयं
केशव धृतरामशरीर जय जगदीश हरे

 

vitarasi dikshu rane dik-pati-kamaniyam
dasa-mukha-mauli-balim ramaniyam
kesava dhrita-rama-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

हे केशव ! हे रामचन्द्र का विग्रह धारण करने वाले ! हे ऋषियों की व्यथा हरने वाले हरे ! तुम्हारी जय हो, क्योंकि तुम रामावतार में लंका के रणांगण में दशों दिक्पालों के द्वारा वांछनीय एवं रमणीय, रावण के मस्तकरूप उपहार को दशों दिशाओं में वितरण करते रहते हो ।

O Keshava! O You who assume the form of Ramachandra! O Lord of the Universe! O You who remove the rishis’ suffering! All glories to You, because in the battle of Lanka You destroy the demon Ravana and distribute his heads as a pleasing offering to the presiding deities of the ten directions, who greatly desired this action due to being much harassed by this monster.
